Preface

This book is designed to sow seed of knowledge into your hearts about a big problem. The problem is spiritual, psychological and biological disease and what can we do about it and where is God in it today.

I ask for much grace and mercy in the reading because this teaching is not designed to be a theological dissertation, but designed to be an insight into a problem and its solution: disease prevention and eradication. You will find this material to be scripturally accurate as well as medically and scientifically observable.

I find myself on the cutting edge of a problem and its solution. I do not have all the answers and I am still leaning more every day. I reserve the right to revise this information as God increases the depth of my understanding.

One of my desires is to better equip the Church with respect to defeating spiritual, psychological and biological diseases. Also one of my goals is to take away the mystery of disease and to be able to show from God’s perspective why mankind has disease.

Over the years God has shown me many insights into why mankind has disease. It is not that God cannot heal or that He doesn’t want to: the problem is that man doesn’t understand disease. We have gone into captivity and are perishing because of either lack of knowledge or just no knowledge at all. My investigation over the years, from the Scriptures and by practical discernment, has unearthed many spiritual roots and blocks to healing. In fact, the basic principles that, when applied, will move the hand of God to heal, are the same that, when applied, will prevent disease.

God’s perfect will is not to heal you, His perfect will is that you don’t get sick. Today, I and this church/ministry stand 100% for disease eradication and prevention, not disease management, and on a regular basis if at all possible. To this end, I and this church are dedicated.

I don’t want this book to become a method or a science or a formula or a quick-fix to take the place of relationship with God. One of the main themes of this book is the connection between sin and disease. Another theme in the book is the consequences of separation from God, His Word, His love; separation from ourselves; and separation from others.

One of the things that concerns me for those that will use this book to try to help others is that they will make it into a science or, at worst, use the knowledge in a legalistic manner to condemn others. A heart of compassion is the key to ministry. This current edition ads testimonies and guides to ministering in a more excellent way.
